Support our Center

There are many ways you can help.

Donate

We believe that every dollar makes a difference -- no donation is too small. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations are tax deductible. Click here to donate.

Double or Triple the Impact of your Donation with Matching Gifts

Many companies offer employee giving programs where they match donations. You could double or event triple the impact of your donation with a matching gift from your workplace! Some companies also match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.

If your company has a matching gift program, contact your company’s human resources department to learn about your options. Companies have various methods by which you can submit your matching gift request -- online forms, automated phone systems, or a paper form that you submit to BMC.  If your company uses a paper matching gift form, please complete and sign the form and send it  along with your contribution, and we will take care of the rest. If you have given a gift recently or in this calendar year, you may still be able to ask your company to match it.

Attend or Host an Open House -
*UPDATE: We are currently not hosting Caring Communities meetings. We will be back soon!

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to flee your home and start life over in a new country What challenges do survivors face as they rebuild their lives after torture?

Attend one of our monthly Caring Communities meetings to find out!  You will meet our staff and learn about refugees, the asylum seeking process, and how we provide holistic care for survivors of torture living in the Boston area.  After you’ve attended a meeting, you may decide to host your own open house to share the message with your friends and community members.

Plan a Fundraiser

Interested in fundraising? Plan a bake sale, cocktail party, contest or scavenger hunt, film screening or other event to help raise money for our center!  It is a fun way to start a conversation about refugees and asylum seekers in your community and to share educational materials about what our organization does.
