Our services are designed to meet the special needs of asylum seekers, torture survivors, refugees and their families. We provide support as they move from surviving to thriving. We offer comprehensive medical care coordinated with Social Services and legal aid. Our clinicians also provide Psychological, Medical and Gynecological evaluations for Asylum Cases. We provide referrals to organizations in the Boston area that offer free or low cost legal consultations. To further aid clients, we offer Career Development Services supplemented by English Language Training. In addition, we have support groups and host events that are designed to help clients maintain a sense of community. Established in October 2009, our Refugee Patient Navigator Program is vital in maintaining holistic and personal patient care. The Refugee Patient Navigators (RPNs) assist clients in navigating the BMC campus, going to various medical appointments, and understanding and completing paperwork.
